Sometimes, I wish I lived in L.A...

Because, then, I'd be able to see amazing folks like Alison de la Cruz try out her new material.

I just got this off of my Friendster list. So if you happen to be in L.A. go check out the show!

Here's the Friendster Bulletin:

Reasons why you should come to this Voices of Exchange...

- you are a capoerista who wants to play and meet other capoeristas in the area...(or you don't play capoeira and you know capoeristas are hot and you want to meet one)

- you are a spoken word artist/singer/comedian/musician and you want to find a place to share your work as well as meet other hot spoken word artists/singers/comedians/musicians

- you want to check out EARTHTONES, an all female Hip Hop, Reggae, Spoken Word group

- because ALISON DE LA CRUZ, performance artist/playwright, has new material and is testing it out in OUR venue!!!

- MATHMASS of LOOKINSIDE MAGAZINE has a video masterpiece that is going to be displayed. And where ever one member of Lookinside Magazine is at, the others are sure to follow. =)

- you want to come out because you want to check out LA's graffiti artists/muralists NUKE and CHOSE ONE bust out a piece before your very eyes.

- you definitely want to come out to support UNSK8, a unique afterschool program for the youth and young adults which teaches self-sufficiency and leadership qualities via art, business, and the skateboarding industry. You also want to go because professional artist, phloe, is donating an original piece for raffle to help the benefit.

-because NOMMO is going on 7 years and you want to celebrate our birthday!

-because I love seeing your lovely faces!!!!!!!
