What's the secret to my amazing rum cake?

Good friends.

My friend James invited Stkyrice and myself over to his place for a dessert party a little while back. I think the only thing that wasn't a dessert was some yummy fried chicken. I'm vegetarian and even I was tempted to have some of that chicken, but I didn't. I was more hungry for some of the mouthwatering desserts on the table in front of me.

Needless to say, it was a diabetic's nightmare. There were various types of cakes and cookies all yummy. What finally got my whole attention was when I smelled...that' right, smelled, the rum cake. I knew I had to have a piece of that.

Yes, if anyone is curious, that's also how i react to a hot man.

but I digress, I made sure that I wasn't completely full before pouncing on the rum cake. All the other rum cakes I've had in the past were nothing compared to this one. The smell alone was intoxicating, the taste, was divine.

So of course, I had to have the recipe. James provided it to me and I've been making it ever since. Some people have told me that they have gotten drunk off of the cakes I made. It that's true, I take no responsibility for any accidents that may have been caused by the eating of that cake. :)
