Zap is introducing the SMART car to the U.S.
This is a two seater that gives you 60 MPG. As far as I can tell, this car is a full gas engine and not some type of hybrid.
It's also tiny, at 8 feet long. Two of these cars can fit bumper to bumper in one regular sized car space!
Sounds like this car was made for SF. Well, here's your chance, Zap is displaying it for the first time on U.S. soil at the San Francisco International Auto Show here at Moscone Center.

Smarts are all the rage in London. Here's one parked in E. Sheen. Another view. Also there is the Figaro - a Nissan creation which never made it over here. Figaro qua, Figaro la.
